PAREPARE – Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, memimpin langsung aksi kerja bakti massal bersama jajaran Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) didampingi Wakil Wali Kota Parepare, Hermanto, yang dimulai dari kawasan Taman Tattirotasi. Hadir pula Brimob Datasemen B Pelopor Parepare, Jumat (11/04/2025).
Aksi bersih-bersih ini menjadi langkah awal gerakan kebersihan rutin setiap Jumat, yang dicanangkan oleh Wali Kota Tasming Hamid dalam rangka menjaga kebersihan dan keindahan lingkungan kota.
“Parepare saat ini menjadi sorotan terkait persoalan kebersihan. Karena itu, mulai hari ini dan seterusnya, setiap hari Jumat kita turun kerja bakti. Namun pelayanan kepada masyarakat tetap harus berjalan sesuai prosedur,” tegas Tasming Hamid dalam sambutannya.
Ia menambahkan, penentuan lokasi kerja bakti di setiap wilayah akan dikoordinasikan oleh Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda).
“Khusus untuk camat dan lurah, saya minta aktif bergerak di wilayah masing-masing. Pak Wakil Wali Kota nanti akan mengawasi langsung pelaksanaannya. Kalau ada wilayah kecamatan atau kelurahan yang terlihat jorok dan tidak terurus, bisa saja dikenakan sanksi,” tegasnya.
Sementara untuk instansi atau OPD, Tasming menyampaikan akan dibuatkan jadwal khusus guna mendukung kebersihan lingkungan di sekitar kantor masing-masing.
“Yang paling penting bukan hanya bersih-bersih, tetapi bagaimana kita mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan. Libatkan semua elemen, termasuk masyarakat, agar ikut bergerak dan peduli terhadap lingkungannya,” ujar Tasming.
Secara teknis, lanjut Tasming, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Parepare akan menyiapkan standar operasional di setiap lokasi kerja bakti, termasuk memastikan sampah yang dikumpulkan segera diangkut.
“Kebersihan kota menjadi perhatian serius kami. Ini bukan hanya soal penampilan kota, tapi juga berkaitan dengan kesehatan dan kenyamanan masyarakat,” tutup Tasming Hamid.
