Parepare – Kejaksaan Kota Parepare melaksanakan pemusnahan barang bukti tahun 2024 yang berlangsung di kantor Kejaksaan Kota Parepare.
Acara ini dihadiri oleh sejumlah pejabat penting, termasuk Sekretaris Daerah Kota Parepare Husni Syam, Kapolres Kota Parepare, perwakilan dari Dandim 1405, Kepala Pengadilan, Kepala Bea Cukai, dan Kepala Imigrasi. Kamis (18/7/24)
Kepala Kejaksaan Kota Parepare, Abdillah, menjelaskan bahwa pemusnahan barang bukti ini merupakan bagian dari upaya penegakan hukum yang konsisten di Kota Parepare.
“Pemusnahan barang bukti ini menunjukkan komitmen kami dalam menjaga integritas hukum dan memastikan bahwa barang bukti yang sudah memiliki kekuatan hukum tetap dan berasal dari 56 perkara dari priode 2023 akhir sampai dengan juli 2024 dan segera dimusnahkan,” ungkap Abdillah.
Lanjutnya bahwa dari 56 perkara atau barang bukti yang paling banyak di musnakan itu adalah Rokok sebanyak 220.000 batang atau 110 pics dan barang bukti Sabu sebanyak 38 Gram ini merupakan hasil penyisihan dari 20 Kg sabu yang di tangani tahun lalu.
“Untuk Sabu ini pemainnya jaringan internasional dan tertangkap dengan kurang lebih 20 Kg Sabu dan 296 butir pil Ekstasi.” Jelasnya.
Tambahnya bahwa pemusnahan barang bukti ini juga bertepatan dengan hari bakti adiaksa ke 24 tahun 2024 dengan tema “akselerasi kejaksaan untuk mewujudkan penegakan hukum moderen menuju Indonesia Emas.” Yang akan di peringati pada puncaknya di senin, 22 juli 2024.
Dalam acara tersebut, Sekda Kota Parepare, Husni Syam, membacakan sambutan dari Pj Wali Kota Parepare. Ia menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara berbagai instansi dalam upaya penegakan hukum dan pemberantasan kejahatan di Kota Parepare.
“Pemusnahan barang bukti ini adalah bukti nyata bahwa aparat penegak hukum bekerja sama secara efektif untuk menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di kota ini,” kata Husni Syam.
Barang bukti yang dimusnahkan terdiri dari berbagai jenis, termasuk narkotika, minuman keras ilegal, senjata tajam, rokok cukai ilegal dan barang bukti lainnya yang telah mendapatkan keputusan hukum tetap.
Acara ini diharapkan dapat memberikan efek jera bagi para pelaku kejahatan dan meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap penegakan hukum di Kota Parepare.
