Barru, – Tim SAR Batalyon B Pelopor Satuan Brimob Polda Sulawesi Selatan bergerak cepat menangani dampak banjir di Kabupaten Barru dengan melakukan pembersihan di SD Negeri 194, Senin (23/12/2024).
Langkah ini diambil untuk mempercepat pemulihan sekolah sehingga dapat kembali digunakan untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar.
Dipimpin langsung oleh Komandan Batalyon B Pelopor Satbrimob Polda Sulsel, Kompol Ramli, tim membersihkan lumpur dan puing-puing yang memenuhi ruang kelas dan fasilitas sekolah akibat banjir yang melanda wilayah tersebut beberapa hari lalu.
“Kami hadir di sini untuk membantu memulihkan kondisi sekolah yang terdampak banjir. Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk nyata dari pengabdian Brimob kepada masyarakat,” ujar Kompol Ramli.
Dalam aksi tersebut, tim menggunakan peralatan seperti pompa air, sekop, dan sapu untuk membersihkan sisa material banjir. Selain itu, koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah dan masyarakat sekitar dilakukan guna mempercepat proses pemulihan.
Kepala Sekolah SD Negeri 194, dalam keterangannya, mengapresiasi bantuan yang diberikan oleh Tim SAR Brimob.
“Kami sangat berterima kasih atas bantuan ini. Kehadiran mereka sangat membantu kami dalam mempercepat proses pemulihan sekolah,” ungkapnya.
Selain pembersihan, kegiatan ini juga mencakup edukasi kepada masyarakat sekitar mengenai pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sebagai langkah antisipasi banjir di masa mendatang.
Kompol Ramli menegaskan komitmen Satbrimob Polda Sulsel untuk terus hadir membantu masyarakat dalam berbagai situasi darurat.”Kami siap hadir di tengah masyarakat kapan pun diperlukan, karena Brimob untuk Indonesia bukan hanya slogan, tetapi sebuah komitmen nyata,” tutupnya.
Langkah tanggap darurat ini menunjukkan kesigapan dan dedikasi Satuan Brimob Polda Sulsel dalam membantu masyarakat yang terdampak bencana, sekaligus memperkuat hubungan antara institusi keamanan dan masyarakat.
