    Parepare – Yayasan Pendampingan Kesehatan Terpadu (YPKT) yang disponsori oleh AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) menggelar Workshop Jurnalistik Peduli HIV/AIDS di Aula lantai 3 Rumah Sakit (RS) Hasri Ainun Habibie Parepare, Kamis (27/3/2025). Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh para jurnalis dari media yang ada di Parepare.

    Workshop ini dibuka oleh Plt Direktur RS Hasri Ainun Habibie Parepare, dr. Linda Iriani Raflus. Dalam sambutannya, dr. Linda menyampaikan pentingnya peran jurnalis dalam menyebarluaskan informasi yang akurat dan edukatif mengenai HIV/AIDS kepada masyarakat. Ia juga menekankan bahwa kolaborasi antara tenaga medis dan media sangat dibutuhkan dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan HIV/AIDS.

    Turut hadir dalam kegiatan ini Ketua YPKT Abdul Risal, Wadir Keuangan dan Administrasi dr. Andi Usmaria, serta sejumlah pemateri berpengalaman seperti Shanti Syafaat, Mustafa Mappangara, dan Hardianti dari Dinas Kesehatan. Selain itu, Wakil Ketua YPKT Armando, Sekretaris YPKT Mastika Marjaeni, serta pengurus YPKT lainnya juga hadir untuk mendukung jalannya workshop.

    Workshop ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman jurnalis mengenai isu-isu terkait HIV/AIDS, termasuk cara penulisan berita yang tidak hanya informatif tetapi juga bebas stigma. Pemateri memberikan wawasan tentang tantangan dan strategi komunikasi dalam memberitakan isu kesehatan, khususnya HIV/AIDS.

    Ketua YPKT Abdul Risal dalam sambutannya menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap partisipasi jurnalis dalam workshop ini. “Kami berharap kegiatan ini dapat membantu para jurnalis dalam menyajikan berita yang lebih sensitif dan berbasis data terkait HIV/AIDS, sehingga masyarakat mendapatkan informasi yang benar dan tidak terpengaruh oleh stigma negatif,” ujarnya.

    Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan jurnalis di Parepare semakin berperan aktif dalam menyebarkan informasi yang akurat dan membantu mengurangi stigma terhadap pengidap HIV/AIDS di masyarakat.
