NOTIFEDIA, MAKASSAR — Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, meraih penghargaan Peduli Media dari Serikat Media Siber Indonesia Sulawesi Selatan (SMSI) Award 2023.
Penghargaan tersebut diberikan atas apresiasi SMSI Sulsel terhadap sikap dan kebijakan Pj Wali Kota Parepare yang dinilai care terhadap media.
Penghargaan tersebut diserahkan langsung oleh Ketua Umum SMSI Sulsel, Rasid Alfaridzi, kepada Pj Wali Kota Parepare yang di wakili oleh Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informasi (Kominfo), M Anwar Amir di Hotel Claro Kota Makassar, Senin (15/01/2023).
Rasid Alfaridzi mengatakan, penghargaan tersebut diberikan kepada Pj Wali Kota Parepare karena dinilai memiliki sikap dan kebijakan yang care terhadap media.
Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan berbagai kebijakan yang dikeluarkan Pj Wali Kota Parepare, seperti membuka ruang dialog dengan media, memberikan kemudahan bagi media dalam mengakses informasi.
“Kami memberikan penghargaan kepada Pj Wali Kota Parepare serta ke beberapa Bupati Se-Sulsel karena dinilai memiliki sikap dan kebijakan yang care terhadap media,” kata Rasid.
Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, mengucapkan terima kasih melalui Kepala Dinas Kominfo M Anwar Amir atas penghargaan yang diberikan oleh SMSI Sulsel Ia mengatakan, penghargaan tersebut akan menjadi motivasi baginya untuk terus bersinergi dengan media dalam membangun Kota Parepare.
“Terima kasih atas penghargaan yang diberikan oleh SMSI. Penghargaan ini akan menjadi motivasi bagi saya untuk terus bersinergi dengan media dalam membangun Kota Parepare,” kata M Anwar Amir.
Pj Wali Kota Parepare juga menyampaikan komitmennya untuk terus memberikan dukungan kepada media dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Ia mengatakan, media memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan Kota Parepare.
“Media memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan Kota Parepare. Oleh karena itu, saya akan terus memberikan dukungan kepada media dalam menjalankan tugasnya,” kata Kadis Kominfo
Penghargaan Peduli Media dari SMSI Sulsel Award 2023 merupakan penghargaan yang diberikan kepada tokoh atau pejabat yang dinilai memiliki sikap dan kebijakan yang care terhadap media.
