Parepare, – Kasus dugaan video call seks (VCS) yang melibatkan seorang oknum anggota DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Barat terus menjadi sorotan publik.
Setelah desakan dari Gerakan Barisan Rakyat Anti Korupsi (Gebrak) Sulbar agar Badan Kehormatan DPRD Sulbar segera melakukan sidang evaluasi, kini Ketua Umum Kerukunan Pelajar Mahasiswa Mamuju (KPMM) Kota Parepare, turut bersuara.
Sebelumnya, tangkapan layar percakapan video call yang diduga melibatkan oknum DPRD Sulbar ini sempat beredar luas di media sosial Facebook sebelum akhirnya dihapus. Skandal ini pun menuai kecaman dari berbagai pihak, termasuk organisasi mahasiswa dan aktivis anti-korupsi.
Ketua Umum KPMM Kota Parepare, Ardiansyah, mengecam keras tindakan yang dilakukan oleh oknum anggota DPRD tersebut. Ia menilai, skandal ini bukan hanya mencoreng nama individu, tetapi juga merusak citra lembaga DPRD secara keseluruhan.
“Sebagai wakil rakyat, mereka seharusnya menjadi teladan, bukan justru melakukan tindakan yang mempermalukan institusi negara. Ini adalah pukulan telak bagi kredibilitas DPRD Sulbar dan merusak kepercayaan publik terhadap wakilnya di parlemen,” tegas Ardiansyah.
Lebih lanjut, ia mendukung langkah Gebrak Sulbar yang mendesak Badan Kehormatan DPRD Sulbar segera menggelar sidang evaluasi dan mengambil tindakan tegas terhadap oknum tersebut.
“Kami mendesak Ketua DPRD Sulbar segera bertindak. Jangan ada pembiaran! Jika terbukti bersalah, oknum ini harus diberhentikan demi menjaga marwah lembaga DPRD dan moralitas publik,” tambahnya.
Gebrak Sulbar sebelumnya telah menyatakan bahwa mereka siap melaporkan kasus ini ke kepolisian sesuai dengan Undang-Undang No. 44 Tahun 2008 tentang Pornografi.
Berdasarkan undang-undang tersebut, pejabat yang terlibat dalam aktivitas pornografi dapat dikenai hukuman penjara maksimal 10 tahun atau denda hingga Rp5 miliar.
Selain itu, berbagai organisasi mahasiswa termasuk KPMM Parepare akan terus mengawal kasus ini hingga ada kejelasan. Mereka juga berencana berkoordinasi dengan berbagai Lembaga Bantuan Hukum (LBH) untuk memastikan bahwa skandal ini tidak berakhir tanpa sanksi tegas.
“Kami tidak akan tinggal diam. Jika DPRD Sulbar lamban merespons, kami akan menggelar aksi besar-besaran bersama mahasiswa lainnya sebagai bentuk protes atas moralitas yang tercoreng!” pungkas Ardiansyah.
Hingga berita ini diterbitkan, pihak DPRD Sulbar belum memberikan pernyataan resmi terkait tuntutan evaluasi dan laporan yang diajukan oleh Gebrak Sulbar serta organisasi mahasiswa lainnya.
