    English Bootcamp di Sidrap, 200 Siswa Belajar Bareng Mahasiswa Internasional

    Notifedia.com, Sidrap – Sebanyak 200 siswa dari berbagai sekolah di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang mengikuti English Bootcamp Batch 2 yang digelar di Kebun Inggris, Desa Talumae, Kecamatan Watang Sidenreng, Sabtu (10/5/2025).

    Kegiatan yang dijadwalkan berlangsung selama tiga hari, 10–12 Mei 2025 ini menghadirkan mahasiswa internasional dari Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) Makassar.

    Mereka berasal dari berbagai negara seperti Pakistan, Nigeria, Yaman, dan Afghanistan, serta mewakili disiplin ilmu yang beragam, di antaranya Hukum, Kedokteran, Farmasi, Keperawatan, dan Ilmu Politik.

    Bupati Sidrap, Syaharuddin Alrif, hadir langsung membuka kegiatan sekaligus memberikan motivasi kepada para peserta.

    Ia mengapresiasi inisiatif kegiatan ini yang dinilai mampu memperluas wawasan pelajar serta membuka ruang interaksi lintas budaya.

    “Melalui English Bootcamp yang ke-2 ini, diharapkan peserta tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris, tapi juga bahasa Arab, bahasa Indonesia, dan bahasa Bugis. Penguasaan berbagai bahasa adalah nilai tambah besar bagi generasi muda,” ujar Syaharuddin.

    Ia juga mendorong agar penggunaan bahasa Inggris tidak berhenti di kegiatan ini saja, melainkan dilanjutkan dalam keseharian, terutama di lingkungan sekolah.

    “Anak-anakku, kesuksesan hanya bisa diraih melalui ketekunan dan kesungguhan. Siapa yang bersungguh-sungguh, niscaya akan meraih keberhasilan,” pesannya.

    English Bootcamp ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Pemerintah Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang dalam meningkatkan kapasitas pelajar menghadapi tantangan global.
