    Film Dokumenter Karya Andi Musran Yang Berjudul “Palontara” Akan di Putar Perdana

    PAREPARE, NOTIFEDIA — Pemutaran perdana film dokumenter karya anak Parepare ini juga akan dirangkaikan dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang melibatkan pegiat dan praktisi kebudayaan di Parepare, akademisi, komunitas, pegiat dan pemerhati kesenian, filmmaker, guru sekolah, serta juga melibatkan mahasiswa di Parepare.

    Sutradara sekaligus penulis naskah film palontara, Andi Musran mengatakan, setelah melalui proses pra-produksi, produksi hingga pada pasca-produksi yang menyita waktu yang cukup lama, akhirnya film dokumenter ini segera melakukan pemutaran perdananya di Parepare.

    “Sebelum kami melakukan pemutaran film, terlebih dulu kita laksanakan FGD yang akan melibatkan sejumlah kalangan, baik itu pegiat dan praktisi kebudayaan, akademisi, pemerhati kesenian hingga kalangan mahasiswa,” kata Andi Musran, saat dihubungi, Jumat (16/6/2023).

    Seorang palontara lanjutnya, saat ini tidak terlalu diperhatikan keberadaannya. Berangkat dari hal itu, dirinya sebagai pegiat budaya di Parepare berinisiasimengangkat kisah Andi Oddang To Sessungriu melalui media audio visual.

    “Untuk merealisasikan gagasan atau ide tersebut kami wujudkan melalui program Dana Indonesiana yang digagas oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Indonesia bekerjasama dengan LPDP,” jelasnya.

    Film yang diproduksi oleh Cella Eja Art ini, mengangkat kisah seorang Andi Oddang To Sessungriu yang mendapatkan mandat sebagai generasi penulis aksara lontara Bugis.

    “Andi Oddang To Sessungriu adalah kisah penyalin ilmu yang bertahan di Tengah era digital ini. Andi Oddang To Sessungriu yang mendapatkan mandat sebagai generasi penulis aksara lontara Bugis. Bertahan dan mendedikasikan hidupnya sebagai palontara yang saat ini tidak terlalu diperhatikan keberadaannya,” lanjut Andi Musran.

    Pemutaran perdana dan diskusi film ini, kata Andi Musran, akan berlangsung Auditorium Institut Agama Uslam Negeri (IAIN) Parepare, di Jalan Amal Bhakti No.8, Kelurahan Bukit Harapan, Kecamatan Soreang, pada Senin, (19/6/2023), Pukul 13:00 WITA sampai selesai.

    Menurut Andi Musran, secara umum, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memahami lebih mendalam mengenai pembelajaran aksara lontara di sekolah-sekolah formal dan komunitas sebagai pintu masuk untuk memikirkan bersama kemungkinan inovasi dan kerjasama multipihak.

    “Kami berharap ke depan nantinya akan melahirkan berbagai terobosan terbaru dalam menunjang masa depan aksara lontara,” harapnya.

    Ada pun gambaran sinopsis pada film ini lanjutnya, saat usianya masih 10 tahun Andi Oddang To Sessungriu terkena sakit berbulan-bulan. Di perutnya muncul benjolan berwarna merah, orang Bugis biasa menyebutnya cellakeng.

    Bagi tradisi palontara itu tanda dia akan menjadi penerus palontara. Andi Oddang To Sessungriu kemudian dilantik oleh ayahnya setelah usianya 21 tahun untuk melanjutkan tradisi menyalin dan menulis sebagaimana kerja-kerja palontara.Andi Oddang To Sessungriu menyalin naskah lontara ayahnya, dan juga dari orang-orang yang dia temui sebagai upaya memperbaharui, dan menulis pengetahuan yang dia dapatkan sepanjang hidupnya.

    Di era digital saat ini, Andi Oddang To Sessungriu melakukan penyesuaian media yang digunakan tiap melakukan penyalinan dan penulisan. Namun hal itu tidak semuanya sejalan dengan apa yang sudah disepakati dengan ayahnya saat dilantik sebagai palontara.Sekadar diketahui, lontara di kalangan masyarakat Bugis, itu dikenal sebagai naskah kuno dari daun lontar yang ditulis oleh palontara (orang yang bertugas menulis aksara di daun lontar) secara turun temurun.

    Di dalam naskah lontara, tertuang ilmu pengetahuan: adat istiadat, budaya, pertanian, kelautan, perbintangan, sejarah kerajaan, dan banyak lagi pengetahuan yang melingkupi kehidupan masyarakat Bugis terdahulu.Seluruh nilai-nilai hidup yang menjadi jejak leluhur Bugis tertuang dalam wujud aksara lontara.
