Notifedia.com, Sidrap – Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap) terus melangkah nyata mendukung peningkatan indeks pertanaman, produksi, dan produktivitas guna mewujudkan swasembada pangan.
Rabu (21/5/2025), Bupati Sidrap Syaharuddin Alrif menyerahkan bantuan alat mesin pertanian (alsintan) prapanen dan pascapanen kepada Brigade Pangan di tujuh kecamatan.
Penyerahan berlangsung di Lapangan Kompleks SKPD Sidrap, disaksikan Dandim 1420 Sidrap Letkol Awaloeddin, dan Anggota DPRD Abdul Rahman.
Adapun alsintan yang diserahkan, meliputi traktor crawler 21 unit, rice transplanter 21 unit, pompa air 84 unit, dan combine harvester 6 unit.
Bupati Syaharuddin Alrif mengatakan, bantuan alsintan ini bukan hanya untuk meningkatkan produksi pertanian, tetapi juga demi kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Saya harapkan bantuan dari pemerintah pusat ini digunakan sebaik-baiknya. Rawat dengan baik, manfaatkan untuk kemajuan pertanian dan kesejahteraan petani Sidrap,” tegasnya.
Syaharuddin selanjutnya menyatakan tekadnya menjadikan Brigade Pangan Sidrap sebagai yang terbaik di Indonesia. Karenanya ia meminta seluruh petani bekerja sungguh-sungguh dan memiliki etos kerja tinggi.
Untuk memastikan pemanfaatan bantuan alsintan berjalan optimal, Syaharuddin menegaskan pentingnya pengawasan yang ketat terhadap penggunaannya.
“Perlu juga pelatihan bagi petani untuk menggunakan alsintan dengan efektif dan efisien. Selain itu akan dilakukan evaluasi yang berkala untuk memastikan bahwa tujuan penyerahan alat mesin pertanian tercapai,” pungkasnya.
Sementara itu, Letkol Awaleoddin menyampaikan rasa syukurnya atas bantuan dari pemerintah pusat tersebut. Ia pun mengingatkan pentingnya menjaga dan memanfaatkan alsintan ini dengan baik.
“Saya harapkan alat yang diberikan kepada Brigade Pangan dimanfaatkan dengan baik dan semoga menjadi berkah,” ujarnya.
Turut hadir pada acara itu Asisten Ekonomi dan Pembangunan Siara Barang, Asisten Administrasi Umum Nasruddin Waris, serta Kepala Dinas Tanaman Pangan, Hortikultura, Perkebunan, dan Ketahanan Pangan, Ibrahim.
