Notifedia.com, Parepare — Anggota Komisi III DPR RI dari Partai Demokrat, Andi Muzakkir Aqil, melaksanakan reses Tahun Sidang III sekaligus meresmikan Rumah Aspirasi Andi Muzakkir Aqil (AMAL) di Kota Parepare, Sulawesi Selatan, pada Jumat (13/6/2025).
Dalam kegiatan yang diberangi oleh pembagian makanan tambahan bagi ibu hamil dan balita tersebut, Andi Muzakkir Aqil juga menyampaikan pentingnya peran gizi yang cukup untuk menanggulangi stunting demi kualitas sumber daya manusia yang lebih unggul.
Hadir pula Wali Kota Parepare, Tasmin Hamid, Ketua PKK, Ketua DPC Partai Demokrat Kota Parepare Rahmat Sjamsu Alam, perwakilan Polres, Kodim, Pengadilan Negeri, Kejaksaan Negeri, Forkopimda, dan masyarakat Parepare.
Andi Muzakkir Aqil, yang akrab disapa Andis, menyampaikan sambutan sambil mengenang dukungan masyarakat Parepare yang turut meloloskannya ke Senayan.
“Kontribusi terbesar atas terpilihnya saya sebagai anggota DPR RI ada di Parepare, yaitu sekitar 30%. Saya tidak mungkin melupakan Parepare, dan inilah wujud syukur dan pengabdian saya, yaitu menyediakan sebuah rumah aspirasi di tengah masyarakat,” katanya.
Selain peresmian rumah aspirasi, Andis juga memberikan bantuan makanan tambahan untuk ibu hamil dan balita. Langkah tersebut merupakan upaya untuk menurunkan stunting sesuai visi dan instruksi Presiden Prabowo Subianto.
Stunting, ujar Andi Muzakkir Aqil dapat menjadi masalah penting bagi kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia. “Kalau gizi kurang, proses berpikir akan terhambat. Makanya, stunting harus diberantas demi masa depan bangsa yang lebih unggul dan mampu bersaing di tengah peradaban yang terus melaju,” tegasnya.
Sementara itu, Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, menyampaikan terima kasih atas kepedulian Andi Muzakkir Aqil. “Alhamdulillah, hari ini juga diserahkan makanan tambahan untuk ibu hamil dan balita.
Berdasarkan data yang ada, saat ini stunting di Parepare mencapai 10,24%. Ini menjadi pekerjaan rumah bersama, dan diharapkan tahun depan angkanya dapat turun lebih signifikan,” katanya.
Selain peresmian dan pembagian makanan tambahan, kegiatan reses juga diberangi sesi tanya jawab dan penerimaan aspirasi dari masyarakat.
Dengan rumah aspirasi tersebut, Andi Muzakkir Aqil juga membuka ruang yang lebih luas bagi masyarakat untuk menyampaikan masalah, keluhan, dan harapan yang nantinya dapat diteruskannya di parlemen.
Antusiasme masyarakat tampak dari banyaknya peserta yang datang dan memenuhi lokasi kegiatan, mencapai hampir seribu orang, sehingga membuat suasana reses lebih meriah, hangat, dan penuh kekeluargaan.
